The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites applications from qualified and eligible candidates for the following positions on a regular basis. Candidates with relevant qualifications and experience are encouraged to apply.

Deputy Director (Architecture)

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (minimum 2.0 CGPA out of 4) with 5 years of experience and valid registration with PCATP
- OR
- Master’s degree in Architecture (2.0 CGPA out of 4) with 2 years of experience and valid registration with PCATP
General Conditions and Instructions
Written Test & Interview:
- The written test will be conducted by M/s OTS, while interviews will be conducted by WAPDA.
Age Relaxation:
- General age relaxation of 5 years is already included in the age limit.
- Additional age relaxation for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, and Government/WAPDA employees (up to 10 years for those with 2 years of continuous service) will be provided as per government regulations.
Verification and Documentation:
- All educational certificates must be verified by HEC-recognized universities or relevant institutes.
- Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
- Probation and Regularization: The first appointment is probationary and it will be for a probationary period of one year following which the employee will be considered for regularization provided that his / her performance is satisfactory.
- WAPDA’s Right to Cancel: WAPDA reserves the right to withhold or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
- WAPDA’s Right to Cancel: WAPDA has the right to also abandon or terminate the entire recruitment process at any of cluster without notice.
- No TA/DA: No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for the test/interview.
How to Apply
- An application fee of Rs. 200 must be paid through any branch of Bank Alfalah, HBL or ABL. The fee payment Challan form can be downloaded through the website of online tender solutions.
- The applicants need to choose for which post they are applying and enclosed with it attested copies of Educational documents, Experience certificates, CNIC, Domicile, and two recent pass size photographs.
- Completed applications and the original fee Challan must be sent via courier to:
Manager Operations (WAPDA), Open Testing Service, Office No. 1, Central Avenue, Bahria Town, Phase-VI, Islamabad. - Test details, including date, time, and venue, will be communicated to applicants through SMS or the OTS website.
